Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Craft & Counsel! We're Angela and Vaughan, and we're genuinely excited you're here. These terms might look formal (because legally, they have to be), but we want you to know we're real people who care about doing right by our restaurant community.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier if you're unsure about your plan.
Supported Carriers: Our SMS service works with most major U.S. carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and many others. If you're having delivery issues, let us know.

Service Terms and Limitations
Every restaurant situation is unique – trust us, we've seen it all. While we bring decades of experience and proven methodologies, we can't guarantee specific results. Success depends on many factors, including your commitment to implementing our recommendations.
Our Commitment:
We'll give you honest, straight-forward advice based on real experience
We'll show up prepared and professional
We'll treat your business and information with respect and confidentiality
Your Commitment:
Provide accurate information about your situation
Communicate openly about challenges and goals
Understand that meaningful change takes time and effort
Payment and Cancellation
Payment terms will be outlined in individual service agreements. We believe in being upfront about costs – no surprises, no hidden fees.
Limitation of Liability
We're passionate about helping restaurants succeed, but we need to be clear about legal limitations. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid for our services. We're not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
This might sound harsh, but it's standard business practice. What's not standard is how much we genuinely care about your success.
Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and use information as described in our Privacy Policy. Here's the short version: we only collect what we need, we protect what we collect, and we never sell your information.
For SMS specifically:
We store your mobile number securely
We track delivery and engagement for service improvement
We comply with TCPA and other applicable regulations
You can request deletion of your information anytime
Changes to These Terms
Sometimes we need to update these terms. When we do, we'll:
Post the updated version on our website
Send notice to your email or phone if the changes significantly affect our SMS program
Give you a reasonable chance to review changes before they take effect
Geographic Scope
Our services primarily focus on the U.S. restaurant market, though we've worked internationally. SMS services are currently available in the United States only.

Dispute Resolution
We'd rather solve problems over coffee than in a courtroom. If something goes wrong, let's talk first. If we can't work it out directly, any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in North Carolina.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. We wrote these terms to be reasonable and fair – if a court disagrees with one part, we hope they'll let the rest stand.

A Personal Note from Angela & Vaughan:
Look, we know terms and conditions aren't exactly light reading. We tried to make ours as straightforward as possible because that's how we do business – honestly and transparently.
We've been where you are. We've felt the stress of running restaurants, the weight of making payroll, the challenge of building a team that cares as much as you do. These terms exist to protect both of us, but they don't change our fundamental commitment: we're here to help you succeed.
If you ever have questions about anything – these terms, our services, or just want to chat about the industry – we're real people with real phone numbers. Don't be strangers.
Here's to your success,
Angela & Vaughan
